Mini Cheese Dog Treats

If your dog loves cheese, you must give these simple cheese dog treats a try. With just three ingredients, they'll be ready in under half an hour – 10 minutes for preparation and 20 minutes for baking.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats

  • 1/4 cup goat cheese* (feel free to use all cheddar cheese; I happened to have extra goat cheese in my fridge that I wanted to use before it expires)

  • 1/4 cup cheddar cheese

  • 2 eggs

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. In a food processor, blend oats and cheese until you achieve a crumb-like consistency.

  3. Mix the eggs into the oat/cheese crumb until it forms a dough (expect it to be sticky).

  4. Roll out the dough using a rolling pin. Place parchment paper on top of the dough during rolling to prevent sticking. Roll the dough out to your desired thickness. I kept mine pretty thin.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes.

  6. Cut the baked dough into mini squares.

  7. Store these mini cheddar cheese dog treats in the refrigerator to maintain their freshness.

Note: Please note that the cheese dog treat is intended for occasional treats only. It's crucial to feed them in moderation based on your dog's size. High-fat foods can potentially lead to pancreatitis in dogs, so it's important to be mindful of their overall diet and control the treat intake accordingly.

I hope your pup will love these mini cheese treats as much as Rambo! Happy Baking!
